My name is Olivia Bland and I am a freshman Media and Journalism student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Studying media and journalism at the University of North Carolina has given me the opportunity to explore a wide range of media fields, which has strengthened both my curiosity and creativity. Through my coursework, I’ve developed a growing interest in content creation, design, and copywriting, and I’m eager to keep refining those skills in the coming years as I work toward finding a focused path.

I am originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and I have always loved photography and trying new things, which I think is what sparked my desire to study Media and Journalism.
